Such restrictions aim at “ensuring that sensitive technologies do not fall into the hands of those who would threaten US national security or American citizens,” the US Department of Commerce announced on Monday. The Pakistani company’s name and its location were not disclosed. “In total, the additions include four entities with locations in both China and Hong Kong, and a further two Chinese, one Pakistani, and five Emirati persons,” the announcement added. The Indian Express  Dated May 13,2019 Debraj Deb Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguly on Monday said there is a lot of possibilities of developing trade and bilateral relations between Bangladesh and India through Tripura. The Indian diplomat, who succeeded Harsh Vardhan Shringla as High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh in 2018, said she made a courtesy call to Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb at the state Secretariat. 'We discussed how to increase trade and commerce between India and Bangladesh. Tripura has got a big role on that,” High Commissioner Ganguly told reporters. NDTV May 13,2019 NEW DELHI:  The Home Ministry has cancelled the registration of Bengaluru-based NGO Infosys Foundation for alleged violation of norms in receiving foreign grants, officials said Monday. All non-government organisations (NGOs) are mandatorily required to be registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act or FCRA to receive foreign funding. The Home Ministry had last year served show cause notice to Infosys Foundation for failing to submit annual income and expenditure statement on foreign funding for up to six years despite repeated reminders, officials said. The registration was cancelled as Infosys Foundation allegedly did not file income and expenditure statement on foreign funding for the past few years, they said.
