Kotli Locals Hold Agitation Against Pak Army Of Illegal Encroachment In PoK

Dailyhunt June 10, 2018 Locals of Kotli district of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) have accused Pakistani security forces of illegal encroachment. The residents also launched agitation against the illegal encroachment of their land by the Pakistan Army. Since past few years there has been a growing resentment against Pakistan among the residents of the illegally-occupied region. United Kashmir People's National Party Chairman Shaukat Ali Kashmiri said, "the army encroaches farmers' land which is fertile and ideally located. Tripura and Mizoram take steps to strengthen their setup for fighting cyber crime

Tech 2 June 11, 2018 Tripura and Mizoram have taken steps to strengthen their existing setup to deal with the growing incidents of  cyber-crime , including misuse of social media, officials said on 9 June. The Bharatiya Janata Party-led government in Tripura has recently decided to set up a separate full-fledged Crime Branch comprising senior IPS officers. A senior police officer said the state government has already requested the Central government to repatriate three senior IPS officers to Tripura to join the proposed Crime ranch and to deal with the diverse crimes. Dailyhunt June 11, 2018 The deadly Nipah virus that struck Kozhikode district in Kerala last month and claimed 16 lives in the state has been finally contained and the last of the two positive cases have fully recovered, said Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja on Sunday. Including Mohammed Sadik who was the first person suspected to have died of the infection, the death toll stands at 17. The virus struck at Kozhikode which saw 13 people dying, while three deaths were reported from nearby Malappuram district, and more than 2,000 patients with fever was kept under close observation. The Hindu June 11, 2018 Nirav Modi, the billionaire jeweller at the heart of a more than ₹13,578-crore Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud case in India, has fled to the UK, where he is claiming political asylum, the Financial Times reported on Sunday, citing Indian and British officials Britain's Home Office said it does not provide information on individual cases.
