The Tribune, By Sardar Sikander, June 24, 2018, Islamabad AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider on Friday reiterated to allow the residents of AJK to enter Indian Occupied Kashmir to “help their brothers and sisters under oppression if unrelenting carnage and tyranny in Indian Occupied Kashmir by India does not end.” “We can weigh the option to allow our people to cross the (Line of Control) LoC and enter into the part of Kashmir under Indian occupation if India continues with its repressive policies in the occupied territory,” said PM Haider in a statement. The Economic Times, BY ET BUREAU |  JAN 30, 2018, Delhi India's formal sector workforce is 5.2 crore more when estimated on the basis of the filings under the goods and services tax regime than the so far prevalent definition based on the social security, the Economic Survey has said.  The government's fresh and higher than expected estimate of the country's workforce has come at a time when there has been pressure from all sides on the jobless growth in the country.  "Formal non-farm payroll from a social security perspective is estimated at about 7.5 crore or 31% of the non-agricultural workforce. The formal non-farm payroll from a tax definition is estimated at 12.7 crore or nearly 53% of the non-agricultural workforce in the formal sector," the Survey has said.  According to the Survey, these estimates are enterprise-based and not householdbased definitions of employment and exclude the agriculture sector. The Economic Times, January 30, 2018, New Delhi India has been ranked sixth in the list of wealthiest countries with total wealth of USD 8,230 billion, while the United States topped the chart, says a report. According to a report by New World Wealth, the United States is the wealthiest country in the world as the total wealth held in 2017 amounted to USD 64,584 billion, followed by China at the second place with USD 24,803 billion and Japan with USD 19,522 billion at third.  Total wealth, refers to the private wealth held by all the individuals living in each country/city. It includes all their assets (property, cash, equities, business interests) less any liabilities. An example of the public sector’s failure was when twenty-three children died overnight allegedly due to lack of oxygen at BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur. Another case, at Fortis Hospital, where a family was billed Rs 15 lakh for the treatment of their seven-year-old child, saw the private sector being scrutinised for prohibitive prices. Between the failures of the private sector and the public sector are Indian patients, strapped for choice. However, data from the fourth National Health and Family Survey (NHFS) confirms one choice that Indian patients are definitely making: less than half of urban (42%) and rural (46%) India opt for government health services.
